Literature Text

My mistress and Queen, Jamanen, has come to me with one last story to tell. She sat down next to me, and began to tell the story of me, John, The Jellax Scribe.

I sat down on a bench in a deserted park on earth, marveling at the beauty around me. It would be soon that I would go out to save this world from all its suffering. My thoughts turned towards wondering how wonderful it would be if there was someone who would write about my upcoming salvation campaign. As if in answer to my question, a newspaper article landed at my feet. Opening the paper, I noticed an article about a successful writer, named John, no longer being able to write. I smiled to myself, this was a person that fit exactly what I had in mind. I found the address to where he lived in the article and made my way to his residence. I waited till nightfall, and snuck my way into his house and made my way into his studio. Looking around, I saw many copies of the stories he had written as well as works that he was working on. Throughout the night, I read his stories and was amazed at how well he wrote them. Before daybreak, I wrote a carefully worded letter which told him to meet me the next day at midnight at the park, I then placed it in his mailbox and left.

The next night, I waited in the shadows at the park behind a bench. Sure enough at midnight I saw John come into view and sit down on the nearby bench. He looked around unsure if the letter he had received was true or not.

"I have read your works and I must say I'm impressed with how you write." I said from the shadows.

John looked around with surprise and noticed me standing behind him.

"Who are you?" he asked.
"Me? I am Queen Jamanen my dear, but you may call me Jamanen." I replied.
"Jamanen? What do you want?" he asked again.
"I am in need of someone of your talents, and I would like your help." I answered as I stepped out of the shadows.

I saw him gasp in surprise as he looked me over.

"Someone of my talent? If you had asked weeks ago I would've said yes, but now I can no longer write." He managed to say when he stopped looking.
"I can help you write again, but your problem was not that you can no longer write. It is that you could no longer find anything worthy of writing." I said with a smile.
"Do you really think so?" he asked.
I nodded. "If you come with me, you will be able to write stories that you never dreamed of writing. Hear and see things you never would've thought be possible. Most importantly, you will be able to write it all down, and create wonderful stories." I replied.
He looked very interested in what I had said as he asked, "What must I do to be able to experience this?"
"A very simple thing: all you must do, is accept my gift." I answered with a smile.

He nodded in agreement, and I beckoned him closer to me. When he was close enough, I started his transformation. He looked at me in surprise as his body began to change. I watched as his body melted away as his transformation finished and I called to him to stand up. He reformed his body and looked at it in amazement as I placed a red bowtie around his neck. I then transported both of us to our home, Nemesis.

"Welcome to your new home John." I said with a smile.
"How may I help you with my talents my Queen?" he asked.
"Some of us here have a story to tell about how they were saved by our gift. Soon many more will join with us to be free of their suffering. I would like you to find people with those stories and write them down for me, so that we may have some physical way of seeing just how they were saved. You will be known as the Jellax Scribe." I replied.
Johns face lit up with excitement. "As you wish my Queen. I will write stories that will make you proud." he said.
"I know you will John, now go, I will leave it up to you on how you wish to write them down." I said.

I watched him go to where the Twins were sitting and watched as they began to tell their story to him. John had a purpose once again, and he would go on to create an amazing collection of stories, which he named The Jellax Chronicles – Tales of the Blessed Liberation.
The last of the Jamanen point of view stories. Jamanen tells the story of how John became the Jellax Scribe and how the creation of the Jellax Chronicles began.

I had a lot of fun creating these stories, and for now this will be the last of them. I may, down the road, write down about the others, but we shall see.

Enjoy readers. :)
